Gymnastics 4 All

Gymnastics is the practice of athletic exercises for the development of the body, especially those exercises performed with apparatus such as rings, pommel horse, bars, and balance beam. Although gymnastics was likely practised in ancient Egyptian and Chinese cultures. All of our classes are designed to train children not only in physical skills, like coordination, strength and flexibility, but to help children grow in self-confidence and social skills as well.

Our Studio, we love to watch children grow. Throughout our 10 years of training Students in gymnastics, we have helped a whole generation grow up strong. As kids progress through our classes and programs, we see their flexibility, body awareness and fitness increase. Acrobatic Gymnastics            :          Acrobatics combines Dance, Gymnastics skills, and Synchronization.

Rhythmic Gymnastics            :          Are choreographed to music, involving body elements and bined
                                                            with the handling of small equipment including a rope, hoop, ball,
                                                            clubs and ribbon.

Balance Exercise                    :          A balance exercise consists of static balance elements
                                                            intricate pyramids, transitions between balance holds.

Dynamic Exercise                   :          Dynamic exercise include skills with partner throws and

KATA: A sequence of techniques done in certain order against imaginary opponents, and prearranged and free style sparring comprise the training foundation of this style.

KARATE is a Japanese word meaning "Empty Hands" indicating that Karate is a Martial Art that does not require weapons other than the parts of the body, but, also means that the practitioner of Karate should strive to empty his/her mind of aggression. Originally, Karate was a method of unarmed self-defence developed in the Okinawa Islands from various techniques introduced from mainland China, as well as local innovations up until the late 19th century, the various karate Techniques were practiced and taught within relatively small regions. Present day Karate is divided into four categories i.e. physical conditioning, Self Defence, mental conditioning, and a sport.

It is an extremely effective method of Unarmed Self Defence. The average student learns Karate for self defence and physical conditioning. As he/she becomes proficient, he/she is taught to apply their knowledge by sparring with fellow students. This is a vital part of the training used in most systems.

KARATE is not A Means of Combat Which Simply Takes the Issue of Battle At its Ultimate Objective. It is An Art Which Systematically Tempering Every Part of the Body, Giving Special Attention to the Hands and Feet, Enables One to Act Effectively in the Moment of Crisis, This Training Provides Protection with Nothing More Than the Empty Hand. When Bruce Lee -- who had already made waves in America as the Green Hornet's karate chopping sidekick, Kato -- appeared in the Chinese-made "Jing wu men," or "Fist of Fury," he established himself as the genre's poster boy.

Tai Chi

Tai chi is a Chinese martial art that is primarily practiced for its health benefits, including a means for dealing with tension and stress. Among the martial arts, there are two basic types: the hard martial arts and the soft martial arts. The latter are also called internal arts. Examples of the hard martial arts are karate and kung fu (or wushu). Examples of the soft martial arts are ba gua and tai chi.

Tai Chi is Best in :

Relaxation by reducing anxiety

Exercise which is gentle

Utilizes the diaphragm to improve lung function

Calms the nervous system

Enhances the function of internal organs

Build internal strength through proper breathing

Strengthens the immune systems

Tai chi emphasizes complete relaxation, and is essentially a form of meditation, or what has been called "meditation in motion."Unlike the hard martial arts, tai chi is characterized by soft, slow, flowing movements that emphasize force, rather than brute strength. Though it is soft, slow, and flowing, the movements are executed precisely.


Another aim of Tai Chi is to foster a calm and tranquil mind, focused on the precise execution of these exercises. Learning to do them correctly provides a practical avenue for learning about such things as balance, alignment, fine-scale motor control, rhythm of movement, the genesis of movement from the bodies vital centre, and so on. Thus the practice of Tai Chi can in some measure contribute to being able to better stand, walk, move, run, etc. in other spheres of life as well. Many practitioners notice benefits in terms of correcting poor postural, alignment or movement patterns which can contribute to tension or injury. Furthermore the meditative nature of the exercises is calming and relaxing in and of itself.

Because the Tai Chi movements have their origins in the martial arts, practicing them does have some martial applications. In a two-person exercise called 'push-hands' Tai Chi principles are developed in terms of being sensitive to and responsive of another person's 'chi' or vital energy. It is also an opportunity to employ some of the martial aspects of Tai Chi in a kind of slow-tempo combat. Long-time practitioners of Tai Chi who are so-inclined can become very adept at martial arts. The emphasis in Tai Chi is on being able to channel potentially destructive energy (in the form of a kick or a punch) away from one in a manner that will dissipate the energy or send it in a direction where it is no longer a danger.

Health Aspects
On its simplest level, the Hand Form is an exercise system. However it is not what we, in western culture, usually regard as exercise. How can these slow movements be exercise? In order to understand why, it is good to have knowledge of the concept of Qi (Chi) energy.

BOXING: Our program is an awesome form of Self-Defence. Boxing is easy to learn and very practical. It is very important for beginning martial artists to learn and develop good form with their skills. The student's skills must also be perfected by sparring with other students. By sparring with other students, a student's skills will be much more effective in a street altercation. If a student is training at the right place, this can be done safely, and it can be a lot of fun.

Martial arts Aerobic are not about fighting, or violence or aggression, they are about so much more. Martial arts (Aerobic) are primarily a way of life, discipline, conditioning, perseverance, training, freeing the spirit and of course as a side-effect: self-defense. I am sure that there is at least one reason for everybody to learn a Martial arts (Aerobic), even if it is for exercise or for the social aspect of meeting like minded martial-artists.

Some Common Misconceptions about Martial arts (Aerobic):

1.    You have to be strong to do martial arts.
2.    You have to be young to do martial arts.
3.    You have to be fit to do martial arts.
4.    You cannot do martial arts as a woman.

It takes decades to become good at Martial arts (Aerobic) so why bother. These are all false. There is a type of Martial arts (Aerobic) for everybody, young and old, male or female, strong and fit or weak and unfit. Martial arts (Aerobic) are one of the most fascinating physical activities that have been developed in the known world to date. There are many reasons to study this art form.

There are aggressive and striking martial arts like Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing), and there are passive martial arts with grappling and using the opponents force against him like Aikido (Aikido was used by the Japanese Samurai).It does indeed take many years to become a true master at a martial art, but in one or two years of dedicated training you can learn many moves and techniques that you will be able to use efficiently.

EXERCISE: In our ever-increasing technological society, there is a greater need than ever to prevent ourselves from becoming "couch potatoes that is, we are always out of breath after the simplest task of lifting a heavy object or running down the street to catch the bus. There are many activities that can be taken up to avoid this, such as sports like softball, jogging, weightlifting and so on Martial arts certainly qualify as a good form of exercise. It is worth noting that with such a lengthy and diverse history, martial arts are (in my opinion, anyway) among the better forms of exercise because the variety of techniques to be learned promotes interest. As an example, I personally find weightlifting quite boring, especially when compared to something like a sparring competition with another person.

CONFIDENCE: Martial arts instructors, like any good trainer, are never satisfied with your performance: they are always encouraging you to try harder, to move faster, to aim your punches better. This breeds an important positive attitude: to always be willing to give everything your best shot, and to try as hard as you can. This kind of teaching inspires confidence in one's own abilities, which cannot help but become apparent not only in the martial art, but in everything one does.

GENERAL INTEREST: If you're anything like me, you've grown up seeing plenty of martial arts in the movies and on TV. Ordinary-looking people are somehow able to take on multiple attackers (with or without weapons), dodge bullets, perform impossible-looking kicks and maneuver with amazing speed. Learning a real martial art not only explains what can and can't be done in real life, but it also gives you an appreciation for the skill that many martial arts practitioners (and stunt actors!) have.

MUAY THAI KICK-BOXING: Comes from Thailand and is known as Muay Thai or Thai Boxing. The Thai version uses very brutal full contact. It has full contact punching, elbow strikes, and many kicks, especially low shin round kicks to the knee joints. Proponents often get permanent injuries.
